I purchased this HRM and speed/distance watch due to it supporting Apple Mac operating system (Polar does not) Loading up the data following a run is very easy via the supplied wireless USB interface (POLAR you need to buy the interface at additional cost) and the software us excellent for reviewing a workout and for planning new ones. I have created advanced interval workouts with the software, downloaded it to my watch and then had the watch tell me what to do in my workout ...more

The included software allows you to set up running programs days, weeks, and months in advance. The HRM and foot pod are extremely accurate. A part of my training is to do runs with varying intervals (i.e. run 1/2 mile, jog 1/4, run 1 mile, jog 1/4.) The software allows all of this to be set and transmitted to the watch.
